Ken Vermeille is the CEO and Founder of Vermillion, a mobile product and app development studio built for one mission: help serious operators ship apps that generate revenue, hold up at scale, and stand up to diligence.

Ken's thesis is blunt. Most mobile app projects fail for boring reasons: weak product thinking, fuzzy UX, and no clear line to revenue. Not bad ideas. Vermillion exists to fix that by designing and shipping flagship mobile products for PE portfolio companies and funded startups. The work combines product strategy, UX, engineering, and monetization into one senior partnership.

Ken leads teams across React Native, iOS, Android, backend, and infrastructure. He stays close to the work because outcomes require judgment, not status meetings. Engagements typically start in discovery, move through build, and continue after launch so performance, UX, and monetization improve with real user data.

Over the past 15+ years, Ken has helped founders launch, scale, and exit. That includes products with strong revenue and positive cash flow at time of sale. One example is PicklePlay, a club management platform Vermillion helped take from concept to acquisition. He has also supported client fundraising with products that helped underpin $25M+ in raises.
